OBITUARY
ALICE MAUDE BRYANT
Alice Maude Bryant, 85, Akron, lifelong Plymouth country resident, died Tuesday (March 12, 1974) at the Akron nursing home where she had lived the last two years.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Adaville United Methodist Church under the direction of the Mauer funeral home in LeMars. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley cemetery, Adaville.

AKRON, Iowa --- Mrs. John Charles Bryant, 85, Route 1, Akron, died March 12, at an Akron nursing home after a long illness. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. March 15, in Adaville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Larry Vallery will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery at Adaville under the direction of the Mauer Funeral Home of LeMars.
Mrs. Bryant, the former Alice Brown, was born Sept. 8, 1888, on a farm in Johnson Township, Plymouth County. She was married April 27, 1916, in Johnson Township. Her husband died Feb. 9, 1941.
Mrs. Bryant was a member of Adaville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Eldon of Akron and Gordon of Sutherland; a brother, Elmer Brown of Merrill and four grandchildren.
