OBITUARY
MRS. LOUIS PINGEL

Mrs. Louis W. Pingel, 71, 615 Grandview addition, LeMars, died Wednesday at Floyd Valley Hospital after a brief illness. She had been hospitalized since March 5.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Lothar Braeunig officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.

The former Anna Christina Furst, she was born March 7, 1900, in Washington county at Blair, Neb., a daughter of the late John and Maria Tholen Furst.

She married Mr. Pingel July 30, 1919, at Omaha, Neb.

Mrs. Pingel lived at Blair and Omaha, Neb., moving to Marcus after her marriage. They resided there for 30 years and then moved to Sioux City for 12 years retiring to LeMars in 1961.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and ladies organizations of the church.

Survivors are her husband, Louis, of LeMars; a daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Viola) Kroeger of Remsen; a brother, Arthur Furst of Portland, Ore.; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Jensen, Amanda and Regina Furst, all of Omaha; and two grandsons, Dennis and Dale Kroeger, of Remsen.
