FRED PECKS

Fred B. Pecks, 60, LeMars, died Wednesday (June 25, 1980) at the Veteran’s hospital, Sioux Falls.

Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars. Rev. Tom Lee, pastor of St. John's American Lutheran Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery, LeMars.

Mr. Pecks was born July 5, 1919, at Brunsville to Gerd and Dorothy Weber Pecks. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the army. He was a former employee of Plueger construction.

Survivors are his mother, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Luschen Sr., LeMars; a brother, Herman Pecks, LeMars; two sisters, Evelyn Pecks, LeMars and Mrs. Roy (Elva) Plueger, Verdi, Minn., and nieces and nephews.
