MRS. FRANCES D. OXBERGER

Mrs. Frances D. Oxberger, 44, Sioux City, a registered nurse, died Tuesday (Aug. 23, 1977) at University Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn., after a long illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Mauer funeral home in LeMars, with Rev. Rudy Oudheusden, chaplain at St. Luke’s Medical Center, and Rev. Theodore Guetzlaff of St. John Lutheran Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens in LeMars.

Mrs. Oxberger, the former Frances Hardacre, was born Oct. 27, 1932, at LeMars and was graduated from LeMars High School in 1951, Lutheran School of Nursing in Sioux City in 1954 and the School of Anesthesia at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis in 1962.

She was employed at St. Luke’s Medical Center for 25 years and was a certified registered nurse of anesthesia.

Survivors are a daughter, Beth, at home; her mother, Mrs. Laura Hardacre, of LeMars, and three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Morrow of Mankato, Minn., Mrs. Jack (Esther) Rickabaugh of Minnetonka, Minn., and Mrs. Eldon (Josephine) Small of Akron.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Hardacre.
