FRANCES OSTERBUHR

Frances J. Osterbuhr, 88, of LeMars, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 1994, at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center, LeMars.

Miss Osterbuhr was born on Jan. 9, 1905, in Grant Township, the daughter of Gerd and Gertie (Dirks) Osberbuhr. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, ELCA, LeMars.

Survivors include a sister and her husband, Esther and Bill Popken of LeMars; a sister-in-law, Elvina Osterbuhr, of Elk Point, S.D.; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Maidie Schmidt, Mary Johnson, Anna Osterbuhr and Hannah Osterbuhr; and six brothers, Otto, John, Jack, George, Dick and Herman.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church ELCA, LeMars, with Rev. Gary Landsness officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars. Visitation is after 2 p.m. today (Monday) with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home, LeMars.
