OSWALD H. MUECKE

Oswald H. Muecke, 87, Hinton, died Friday (Nov. 23, 1979) in his home following a brief illness.

He was born Jan. 13, 1892, to Otto Muecke and the former Rosa Rietz. He lived in the area his entire life.

He was married to the former Viola Peters on Oct. 1, 1924, in LeMars.

Mr. Muecke was a member of Hinton United Methodist Church, Casper American Legion post and a veteran of World War I.

Services were held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Hinton United Methodist Church. Rev. William Pace officiated. A prayer service was held Sunday at 5 p.m. at Mauer funeral home, LeMars.

Burial was at Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul, and five sisters, Annie, Sophie, Martha, Rosa and Louise.

He is survived by his wife, Viola; a son, Elmer Muecke, Sheldon; a daughter, Mrs. George (Irene) Ludwigs, rural Hinton; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
