MILES WARNER
Miles Vernon Warner, 71, LeMars, who had lived 4 ½ months in LeMars, died Friday (Sept. 22, 1978) at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack.
He was a retired Chicago and Northwestern railroad agent and had lived most of his life in Minnesota.
He was born Nov. 20, 1906, in Bingham Lake, Minn., to William C. and Bessie P. Kennedy Warner. His marriage to Oral Audry Jacobson took place Oct. 16, 1937, at Windom, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Mauer funeral chapel with Rev. Everett Staats officiating. Burial was in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.
Survivors are his wife, Oral, of LeMars and a sister, Ethel Wettstad of Tracy, Minn.
