LOUIS C. MAY

Louis C. May, 89, LeMars, a lifelong Plymouth County resident, died Thursday (Sept. 28, 1989) at Plymouth Manor Care Center. He was a retired farmer.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Landsness officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens in LeMars.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.

Mr. May was born July 28, 1900, in Plymouth County to Herman and Magalina Mick. He was a member of St. John's American Lutheran Church in LeMars.

His marriage to Alice M. Schoen took place Nov. 16, 1939, at Merrill.

Survivors are his wife, Alice May; two daughters, Mrs. David H. (Lois A.) Ohlendorf and Wilma C. May, all of LeMars; two grandchildren, Eric Ohlendorf and Katie Ohlendorf, LeMars.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.
