HENRY KUECKER

Henry Paul Kuecker, 83, rural Maurice, died Tuesday at Floyd Valley Hospital after a long illness. He had lived at the hospital for 1 ½ years.

He was born June 12, 1885, in Clayton county and was a retired farmer. As a small child he came to the Maurice area and lived there until his last illness.

June 6, 1908, he was married at Larchwood. His wife preceded him in death. His parents were the late Diedrich and Clara Fritz Kuecker.

Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Mauer Funeral Chapel. Rev. Arthur Anacker will officiate and Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Survivors are a son, William, Inwood; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Vellinga, Worthington; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, who died May 17, 1968; a son in December 1968; eight brothers and sisters.
