OBITUARY
MRS. ARTHUR JOHNSON

Mrs. Arthur (Esther) Johnson, 68, Tucson, Ariz., a LeMars native and sister of Mrs. Albert Singer, LeMars, died unexpectedly Saturday (April 20, 1974) at a Tucson hospital.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday (with the hour to be set) at the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson had resided at Tucson for a number of years after farming in the Hawarden area.

Esther Bauerly was born July 2, 1905, in LeMars the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Bauerly. She attended LeMars schools.

Her marriage to Arthur Johnson took place May 1, 1925.

Survivors are her husband of Tucson; three sisters, Mrs. Jess (Mary) Morey, Storm Lake; Mrs. John (Viola) Peck, Hawarden; and Mrs. Albert (Mildred) Singer, LeMars; two brothers Duaine Bauerly of Chadwick, Ill., and Art Bauerly of Downey, Calif.
