DAVID E. HEMME

David E. Hemme, 34, longtime LeMars resident, died Sunday (Oct. 13, 1991) at Floyd Valley Hospital in LeMars.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Calvin Christian Reformed Church in LeMars with Rev. Ed Visser officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars.

Visitation began at 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) with the family present from 5-7 p.m. at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.

Mr. Hemme was born March 27, 1957, in Luverne, Minn., to Norman and Janice Stone Hemme. He graduated from LeMars Community High School in 1975, and served for 12 years in the Army National Guard.

His marriage to Helena Mulder took place May 5, 1978, in Orange City. He was a sales representative at Gus Pech Manufacturing. He was a member of the Calvin Christian Reformed Church in LeMars and had worked during and since high school at Gus Pech Manufacturing in LeMars.

Survivors are his wife, Helena Hemme, LeMars; children, Jama Gail Hemme, and Bryce David Hemme, both of LeMars; his parents, Norman and Janice Stone of LeMars; sisters, Diane Petersen, Orange City; Darla Berkenpas of LeMars and Debra Ver Mulm of Sioux Center.
