MRS. EVELYN EBRECHT

Mrs. Walter (Evelyn) Ebrecht, 68, longtime LeMars resident, died Thursday (Nov. 15, 1979) at Floyd Valley Hospital in LeMars after a brief illness.

Evelyn Pitts was born Aug. 29, 1911, at Cherokee to Thomas and Maude Donovan Pitts. She married Mr. Ebrecht at Jefferson, S.D.

She attended St. Joseph school in LeMars and was a member of St. James Catholic Church.

Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Church with Rev. George McFadden officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of the Luken-Johnson funeral home.

A prayer service will be held Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors are a son, Ronald Ebrecht, LeMars, and a daughter, Mrs. Rose Kinney, Stockton, Calif.; two grandchildren; a brother, Melvin Pitts, LeMars, and a sister, Mrs. Louise Miller, Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
