ROY F. DOBBERT

Roy F. Dobbert, 74, Seney, died unexpectedly at his home Monday morning (Dec. 1, 1969).

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Luken-Johnson funeral home with Rev. Milo Morris officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of Luken-Johnson funeral home.

He was born Feb. 20, 1895, in Stanton township, a son of the late Frank and Anna (Schumann) Dobbert. He married Jennie Van Voorst Aug. 14, 1929, at LeMars. He was a retired farmer and had lived in Seney for the last 27 years.

He was a member of the Seney Methodist Church and a World War I veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and a sister.

Survivors are the widow, Jennie; a daughter, Mrs. Arvel (Ramona) Morehead, and a grandson, Marty Morehead.
