FRANK C. ROEPKE
Frank C. Roepke, 72, Cherokee, died Feb. 29, 1974, in a care center here after long illness.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church.
Burial will be in Grand Meadow cemetery.
Mr. Roepke was born Oct. 10, 1901, in Paulseen, Germany. He came to the United States in 1903 with his parents.
He was a member of the Iowa National Guard eight years and was a member of the American Legion Irvin Powell post 283 at Washta.
He married Laura Dawson Dec. 8, 1922 at Hinton.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Dale of Cherokee; a daughter, Mrs. Rodney (Margaret) Maffin of Cherokee; four grandchildren, a brother, George, of Kingsley; two sisters, Mrs. Emil Albers of Kingsley and Mrs. Alvin Hopp, of Brainerd, Minn.
