RICHARD FRERICHS
LE MARS, Iowa --- Richard Frerichs, 59, of LeMars, died Sunday in the Veterans Administration hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D., after a long illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. John’s American Lutheran Church in LeMars with the Rev. Robert Larson officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens in LeMars. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today with the family present from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home.
Mr. Frerichs was born Oct. 8, 1928, in Plymouth County. He was an auctioneer and had served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Frerichs was a member of St. John’s American Lutheran Church and Wasmer Polst 241, American Legion.
Survivors include three sons, Terry and Tim, both of LeMars, and Richard of Spirit Lake; a daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Joan) Johnson of Spencer; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Frerichs of LeMars; four brothers, George, Gerald and Stanley, all of LeMars, and Leon of Anaheim, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Carol Anfinson, of Lake Park.
