MRS. CLYDE CONLEY

Mrs. Clyde (Nora) Conley, 77, Marcus, died Thursday (Dec. 21, 1978) at Happy Siesta Retirement Home of long illness.

Services were at 1 p.m. Sunday in Peace Lutheran church. Rev. Lambert Schroder officiated. Burial was in Trinity Lutheran cemetery south of Marcus under the direction of Nelson-Mauer funeral home.

Mrs. Conley, the former Norma Luchterhandt, was born Sept. 18, 1901, at Marcus. She had lived most of her life in the Marcus community.

She was married to David C. Smith Oct. 13, 1923. He died.

She was married to Clyde Conley. He preceded her in death.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Cecile (Elvera) Dunn of Marcus and Mrs. Harold (Phyllis) Niichel of Granville; tow sons, Alvin Smith of Marcus and Leonard Smith of Yankton, S.D.; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Elsie) Blietz and Mrs. Carl (Alma) Heesch, both of Marcus; two brothers, Le Roy of Larimore, N.D., and Martin of Fullerton, Calif.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a grandchild.
