ROY M. KELLY

Roy M. Kelly, 79, Oyens, died Thursday (Dec. 21, 1978) at his home of an apparent heart attack while operating a snow blower.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Catherine's Catholic church. Rev. Richard Ries will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

The rosary will be recited by the parish at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. and by the Knights of Columbus at 8:30 p.m. Friday in the Fisch Funeral Home at Remsen.

Mr. Kelly was born May 26, 1899, at rural Oyens. He was a lifelong resident of the Oyens area.

He was owner and operator of Roy Kelly’s garage for over 50 years. He had retired in 1974.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at LeMars and the Oyens Columbus Club.

Survivors are his wife, Viola; three sons, Eldon of Fort Worth, Tex., Ronald of LeMars and George of Denver; two daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Norma) Dominick of Audubon and Mrs. Loren (Mary) Kneip of Oyens; one sister, Mrs. Herb (Ruth) Weber of LeMars; 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
