Funeral services for Ralph (Stub) Blankenburg, 57, longtime Hinton farmer and trucker, were held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Reverend Donald Wuertz officiated. Burial was in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars.
Mr. Blankenburg died last Wednesday at a Sioux City Hospital after an extended illness.
He was a lifelong Plymouth County resident. He was born February 15, 1914, in Lincoln Township. He married Edna Clement March 10, 1937, at Trinity Lutheran Church. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors are his wife, Edna; two sons, Dennis of Sioux City and Wendell of Des Moines and four grandchildren.
