Gilmour H. Bradshaw, 88, of Sioux City died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City, Ariz.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel in Sioux City, with the Rev. Bernie Colorado of St. James United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8:30 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mr. Bradshaw was born Aug. 12, 1913, in Sioux City, the son of John and Sena (Johnson) Bradshaw.
He married Bertha Duzik on March 5, 1940, in Le Mars, Iowa. He started working for Dunsworth Field Co. and H.J. Hinds Co. as a truck driver. He was then employed in the warehouse of Kaplain Grocery. The couple had wintered in Arizona for the past 20 years.
He was a member of St. James United Methodist Church, Moose Lodge and Sioux City Eagles.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha of Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother; and three sisters, Catherine Knapp, Susan Nattras and Marie Bradshaw.
Pallbearers will be Don and John Duzik, William Widman, Charles Knapp, Donald Hibner and Donald Baker.
