LEE BRIDE
Lee Bride, 81, rural Remsen, died Friday (Sept. 26, 1980) at a nursing home in LeMars. [Note on the obit it says, “he went to Brentwood on June 9.”]
Services were at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the Michaelson funeral home in Kingsley. Rev. Jack Hebard, chaplain at the Brentwood Nursing home in LeMars officiated. Burial was in Kingsley cemetery.
Mr. Bride was born Oct. 9, 1898, in Remsen. He married Lela Hawkins Feb. 14, 1925, in Sioux City. She died in 1979. Mr. Bride farmed in Plymouth County since 1910.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Beverly) Cheeseman of Tacoma, Wash., and Mrs. Norman (Lainys) Hanson of Eugene, Ore.; one brother, Ed, of Kingsley; six grandchildren.
