REMSEN, Iowa -- JoAnn A. Joyce, 56, of Omaha, formerly of Remsen, died Sunday, April 27, 2003, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Omaha. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. There will be a wake service at 7 p.m. today at John A. Gentleman 72nd St. Chapel in Omaha.

Mrs. Joyce was born May 28, 1946, in Remsen, the daughter of Julius and Bernice Galles.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; a son, Barry; two sisters, Pat Merrick and Christy and her husband, Steve Pick; four brothers, Gary Galles, Dale Galles, Darrel Galles and his wife, Chris, and Tim Galles and his wife, Debbie; and many nieces and nephews.
