Camilla Lorene Jewett, 58, of Sioux City died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at a Sioux City hospital following a lengthy illness.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Hartz officiating. Burial will be in Bella Vista Cemetery in Plymouth County. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jewett was born April 12, 1943, in Sioux City, the daughter of George and Dorothy (White) Richter Sr. She grew up in Sioux City and attended Heelan High School. She married Richard Jewett Sr. in 1971 in Kalispell, Mont.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles, spending time with her grandchildren, and going to the park and cookouts.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter and her husband, Linda and Marty Langley of Loveland, Colo.; two sons, Billy Jewett and his special friend, Lynn Rich of Sioux City, and Ricky Jewett Jr. and his wife, Julie of Sioux City; a brother, Lawrence Richter of Seattle, Wash.; a sister, Rita Terreault of Arizona; a daughter-in-law, Holly Spence of Sioux City; nine grandchildren, Chad Lee Langley, Cameron, Colton and Chauncy Jewett, B.J. Bartolozzi, Jared and Kenzie Jewett, Savannah Langley and Shyleigh Jewett; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; a brother; and a son, George.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Jewett, Billy Jewett, Chad Langley, Martin Langley, Mark Perera and Jason Carley.
