LE MARS, Iowa -- Phyllis A. (Tyler) Jebsen, 88, of Le Mars died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, at The Abbey in Le Mars.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church in Le Mars, with the Rev. Larry Fett officiating. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City. Visitation will be 3 to 8:30 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8:30 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City.

Mrs. Jebsen was born May 8, 1913, in Sioux City. She married Harold Hanson on Jan. 29, 1939. He passed away June 16, 1980. She then married Roy Jebsen on Sept. 3, 1994, in Le Mars.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband of Le Mars; a daughter, Pat Bring; stepdaughters, Shirley Plendl of Le Mars, Sally Barkley and her husband, John, of Sioux City, Sue Kroll and her husband, Gary, of Sioux City and Sylvia Hansen and her husband, Tom, of Hinton, Iowa; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; 16 stepgrandchildren; 45 great-stepgrandchildren; and three great-great-stepgrandchildren.

In addition to her first husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Fred Tyler; a son, Fred Hanson; and a grandson, Chad Magnusen.

Pallbearers will be Jim and George Barkley, Dale Pedersen, Alan Pedersen and Maurice and Mike Barkley.
