Myrna M. Binnebose, 87, of Sioux City died Sunday, March 23, 2003, at her residence.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Lutheran Church, with the Rev. David A. Schoop officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 5 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mrs. Binnebose was born Jan. 15, 1916, in Hinton, Iowa, the daughter of Julius P. and Emma L. (Woldt) Beck. She graduated from Central High School in 1933. She also graduated from Samuels School of Cosmetology.

She married Walter F. Binnebose on Aug. 16, 1941, in Sioux City. He died Aug. 26, 1994, in Sioux City. For the past three and a half years, she had been a resident of Northern Hills Independent Living Center, where she enjoyed being involved in all of the activities.

She was an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church. Her participation and friendships in the Quilter's Guild and Ruth Circle were very special to her. She also enjoyed sewing, reading and spending time with her family.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Dennis and Sue Binnebose of Norfolk, Neb.; two daughters and their husbands, Carol and Rob Banta and Sharon and Tom Beller, all of Sioux City; six grandchildren, Robert Martin, Sara Martin, Leah Binnebose, Ben Beller, Mark Binnebose and Emilee Beller; and a stepgrandson, Cody Banta.

She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Earl and Paul Beck.

Pallbearers will be Rick Scott, Don Van Roekel, Danny Beck, Dr. Michael Beck, Brad Binnebose and Marlin Binnebose. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Martin, Ben Beller, Mark Binnebose, Bruce Lahrs, Don Prather, Merlin Muecke, Tom Beller and Don Waring.
