MOVILLE, Iowa -- Bernice E. Andrews, 95, of Moville died Tuesday, May 7, 2002, at Correctionville Nursing and Rehab Center in Correctionville, Iowa.
Private family graveside services will be held. Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. today at Earnest-Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley, Iowa.
Bernice was born April 10, 1907, in rural Kingsley, the daughter of Harry and Lova (Twogood) Leinbaugh. She grew up in the Kingsley area. She became a teacher after she graduated from college. She taught at rural schools before teaching music and history at the high school level.
In 1929, she married Omer Andrews. They made their home in the Kingsley/Moville area. Omer died Sept. 7, 1977.
Bernice was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and Cherrio Club. She was a very dedicated homemaker and loving wife and mother. Her family was very important.
Survivors include a son, Loren Andrews of Moville; two daughters and their husbands, Jackie and Dennis Frerichs of Urbandale, Iowa, and Marilyn and Ray Todd of Kingsley; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Helen Leinbaugh of Moville.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Harry; a sister, Dorothy; and an infant brother, Myron.
