LE MARS, Iowa -- Dorothy A. "Buddy" (Keough) Aller, 69, of Jupiter, Fla., formerly of Le Mars and Davenport, Iowa, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 10, 2004, at Genesis Medical Center East Campus in Jupiter.

Services will be 9:30 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Davenport. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport.

Dorothy Alice Keough was born Oct. 10, 1934, in Le Mars, the daughter of Vern and Molly (Nicholson) Keough. She was united in marriage to Merlin E. "Merle" Aller on June 6, 1959, in Waterloo, Iowa.

She was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Davenport and a current member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in DeQuesta, Fla., the CCW, DeQuesta Country Club and Bear County Country Club in Acme, Fla. She enjoyed traveling with her family and was especially proud to be a grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Merle of Jupiter; a son and his wife, Doug and Jill Aller of Oak Park, Ill.; a granddaughter, Madelin Aller of Oak Park; and two sisters, Kathleen DeJager of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Pat (Mrs. Jim) Tippery of Waterloo, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Clyde, Richard and Randy. May they rest in peace.

Memorials may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Davenport or St. Jude's Catholic Church in DeQuesta, Fla.
