MARLENE J. CRISWELL
Mrs. Gordon (Marlene J.) Criswell, 50, lifelong LeMars resident, died Monday (September 30, 1991) at Floyd Valley Hospital in LeMars.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at first Baptist Church in LeMars. Pastor Fred Gums of LeMars Bible Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Mauer-Johnson funeral home in LeMars.
The former Marlene Andersen was born June 20, 1941, in LeMars to Ole and Charlotte Kloster Andersen. She married Gordon W. Criswell Oct. 16, 1960, in LeMars and was a member of the LeMars Bible Church.
Survivors are her husband, Gordon Criswell, LeMars; four daughters, Tammy and husband, Manuel Cruz, and Cindy and husband, John Costello, all of Omaha; Debra and husband, Brian Wood, of Sioux City and Cathy Criswell, of LeMars and her fiancé, Steve Schafer of Ft. Calhoun, Neb.; five grandchildren, Alicia and Teshenna Cruz; Danielle Costello, and Aaron and Amanda Wood; four sisters, Mrs. Maurice (Helen) Harms and Mrs. William (Florence) Grosenheider, both of LeMars; Mrs. Virgil (Hazel) Johnson of Battle Creek, Iowa, and Mrs. Willard (Estella) Herman of LeMars; four brothers, Russell Andersen and wife, Marie, Paullina, Ronald Andersen and wife, Geraldine, of Glendale, Ariz., Robert Andersen and wife, Darlene, of Sioux City and Richard Andersen of Burnsville, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Andersen.
