Mrs. Mae Jenkins Services Tuesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Catherine (Mae) Jenkins, 55, who died Sunday, July 13, at Sacred Heart hospital after a year's illness, were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mauer's funeral home. She had been hospitalized five weeks.

Rev. James Ransom officiated. Burial was in the LeMars city cemetery.

Mary Catherine Simpson was born June 24, 1903, in LeMars, and was a lifelong resident of this community. She has been employed as an inspector at the Aalfs Baker Manufacturing Co., here.

Survivors include a son, Frank of LeMars; two grandchildren, Steven and Vicky Jenkins; a brother, Frank Simpson of Sutherland, and one sister, Mrs. Joseph (Gladys) Foos of Roswell, S. D.

Preceding her in death were her parents, George and Mary Katherine Kern Simpson; two brothers and a sister.
