Mrs. Waldon Fry

Mrs. Waldon Fry, 75, formerly of Akron, died Sunday (Sept. 10, 1972) at an Alcester, S.D., nursing home.

Private burial services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Logan Park cemetery, Sioux City, under the direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home, Akron.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Adaville United Methodist Church, rural Akron, with Rev. Larry Vallery officiating.

The former Pearl McKellar, she was born Sept. 23, 1896, at Elk Point.

She was married July 12, 1923, at Vermillion, S.D. Mr. Fry died in 1950.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, former worthy matron OES, Akron, and a member of the American Legion auxiliary. She was a school teacher.

Survivors are three daughters: Mrs. Vernal Bye of Westfield, Mrs. Joseph Donnelly, Jr., of Concord, Calif., and Maurine Fry of Tempe, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Lillie of Torrington, Wyo., and Mrs. Ima Brown of Long Beach, Calif.; a brother, John of Sunnyvale, Calif.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
