Doris Hinde

Doris Hinde, 75, a longtime LeMars resident, died Friday (March 9, 1990) at Sioux City Marian Health Center.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars with Rev. Charles Mason officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars.

Visitation began at 2 p.m. today (Monday) with the family present from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The former Doris Bailey, was born Nov. 10, 1914, at Glenwood, the daughter of Alvinze and Minnie Benscoter Bailey. She married Glen Hinde Dec. 1, 1931, at Fort Morgan, Colo. He died in 1976.

Survivors are a daughter, Dorothy Brefogle and her husband Fields, Sioux City; a son, Derald Hinde and wife, Kay, of Colton, Calif.; three sisters, Maxine Wernsman and husband Cletus of Fleming, Colo.; Grace Johnson and husband Vic of York, Neb., and Darlene Grove of Denver; six grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers and a sister.
