MRS. BERTHA EYRES LAST RITES MONDAY

Mrs. Bertha F. Eyres, 90, former longtime Plymouth county resident, died last Thursday at a hospital in St. Paul. She had resided in St. Paul with a daughter, Mrs. Russell Williams for the last seven years.

Mrs. Eyres was born Jan. 9, 1875, in Illinois. She and her husband, A. E. Eyres, lived for many years on a farm in Union township. They were members of the Union township Presbyterian church.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Mauer funeral chapel. Burial was in LeMars Memorial cemetery.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. William (Ruth) Purse, Stockton, Calif.; Mrs. Russell (Blanche) Williams, St. Paul; and Mrs. David (Ellen) Hamilton, LeMars; a son, Dr. Alfred E. Eyres, Detroit; 15 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. James Oswald, Wall Lake, and Mrs. George Steel, Phoenix.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
