B. Rex Steeg

B. Rex Steeg, 74, 711 Pacquette St., died Monday in a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Riverside United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jerry Oakland will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Berkemier Funeral Home.

Mr. Steeg was born May 6, 1908, at Driscoll, N.D. and moved to North Sioux City with his family in 1926. He was a veteran of World War II.

He was employed by Rocklin Mfg. Co. for several years and later by Concrete Pipe and Machinery Co. until his retirement in 1978.

He married Mabel Bristol in 1944 at LeMars. They made their home at North Sioux City. She died in 1956. He married Alma DeHaan in 1966. She died in 1971. He married Elvina Hasbrouck March 22, 1980.

Survivors include his wife; four brothers, Ed and Lowell, both of North Sioux City, Milton of Clinton, Iowa, and Lloyd of Webster, Wis., and one sister, Mrs. Lillian Christian of Chico, Calif.
