August F. Ludwig

August F. Ludwig, 81, a retired barber, died at LeMars, Ia., hospital Saturday after a seven year sickness.

Mr. Ludwig was born September 14, 1875, at Richland, S.D. He resided at Richland and Alcester, S.D., before coming to this community. For the last 37 years he was a resident of Craig. He married Etta Croon September 20, 1920, in Craig.

Survivors are the widow, two brothers; Adolph of Alcester, and Herman of San Diego, Cal.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday at St. John American Lutheran church at Craig. Rev. Donald A. Schmidt officiated. Burial was in St. John Lutheran cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home of LeMars.
