Jim Connor, 70, Dies From Effects of May 2 Accident

Funeral services for Jim Connor, 70, were held Monday from St. James Catholic Church in LeMars, the Rev. L. J. LaVelle conducted the service and burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Connor died Friday at Sacred Heart hospital as the result of injuries received this spring when he was run over in front of the Dairy Queen on Highway 75.

He had been a patient at the hospital since the accident, May 2.

James Bernard Connor was born Feb. 10, 1882, in Stanton township and had lived in this county all his life, having farmed for a number of years.

He is survived by a brother, M. J. Connor; a sister, Mrs. F. J. Swain, both of LeMars, and number of cousins, Mike F. Connor, Hugh J. Connor and Mrs. George Sheehan all of LeMars.

The body was at the Wiltgen-Luedtke funeral until the time of the service.
