Dealy-Detloff Wedding

Miss Mamie Detloff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Detloff, of Elgin township, and Mr. Hugh Dealy, a well known young banker of Maurice, were united in marriage in Sioux City, on Thursday evening May 31. The wedding occurred at the residence of Bishop Garrigan at six o'oclock in the evening. The bride wore a dress of cream and was attended by her sister Miss Annie Detloff. The groom was attended by Edward Dealy, of Ireton. The following relatives were present at the marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Uthe and Mrs. B. P. Hoover of Le Mars, Mr. and Mrs. Will Henrich, E. H. Riter, and Miss Annie Detloff of Struble and Ed Dealy of Ireton. The wedding party enjoyed a supper at the West hotel and the newly married couple left on the midnight train for Minneapolis and will spend their honeymoon among the Minnesota lakes.

The young people are well known in Plymouth and Sioux Counties. The groom has been cashier in the bank at Maurice for some time. On return from their wedding trip they will live at Paullina, where the groom will be the cashier of the Paullina bank.
