The Ellendale Church parlors was the scene of a show Saturday afternoon in honor of Miss Margie Doane. Guessing games were played and then Miss Doane opened her gifts. She was assisted by Carol Jean Trometer and Betty Pridie. The gift table was decorated with a blue and white umbrella. Tray lunch concluded the afternoon. There were about forty present and hostesses were Mae Beaulieu, Blanch Frisch, Betty Pridie, Fern Beaulieu, Clara Burnett and Velma Coons. Miss Doane and Albert Pies were married October 14 at the Ellendale Church.
