Miss Alleda Abbey of Eagle township and Clarence Larson of Lebanon vicinity surprised their friends by being quietly married at Sioux City at the Presbyterian parsonage by Rev. A. M. Mcintosh, pastor, Wednesday, May 21. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lou Abbey of Eagle township and a popular rural school teacher. She has been prominent in Eagle township 4-H Club work and holds the office of publicity director and also a county office.
She has won for herself many friends by her quiet unassuming ways who wish her and her husband every happiness. The groom is a rising young farmer engaged in farming near Alcester, S. D. He is an industrious young man well worthy of the bride he has won. Following a short honeymoon the happy couple will be at home to their many friends at Alcester.
