At Fort Hood, Tex.
Miss Shirley Vondrak and Pvt. Richard A. Clarey were married Sunday morning, Aug. 16, at 11:30 o'clock at the Army Chapel in Fort Hood, Tex., with Rev. McGoohan, division chaplain, officiating.Mrs. Clarey is the daughter of Mrs. Gertrude Vondrak of Sioux City, Iowa, and her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Clarey of Merrill.
The bride wore a white satin and lace dress, entrain, with a fingertip veil and carried a bridal bouquet of red roses and white carnations.
Miss Cleone Maxey of Sioux City, a niece of the bride, was bridesmaid. She wore a floor length gown of orchid net over satin and a head band of bronze chrysanthemums. She carried a bouquet of bronze chrysanthemums.
Ray Clarey of Merrill was his brother's best man.
A wedding dinner was served at the Bradley Cafe in Killeen, Tex., for the bridal party and
immediate relatives.The couple will reside at Fort Hood, Tex.
Relatives who attended were Mrs. Gertrude Vondrak and Philip Vondrak of Sioux City, Mr. and
Mrs. John Clarey of Merrill, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Clarey of Elk Point, SD.
