Married at Ellendale.
Miss Agnes C. Clarey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Clarey, of Liberty township, and Edward P. Keenan. of Aberdeen, S. D.. were united in marriage on Wednesday morning, September 16, at the Catholic church at Ellendale, Rev. Father. J P. Barron, of Sioux City, performing the ceremony. Only members of the two families were present at the wedding.

After the ceremony at the church, the wedding party adjourned to the Clarey home where a fine breakfast was served. The young people left on the afternooon train on a honeymoon trip to Denver and other western points. They will be at home in Aberdeen, S. D., after October 15.

The contracting parties are both well known and popular. Miss Clarey has taught school for a number years and is a highly accomplished young woman. Mr. Keenan is a Plymouth county young man who is making his way ably in the world in his profession as a lawyer. He is a whole souled and pleasant young fellow, with good ability and makes friends wherever he goes. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Keenan, residing in Johnson township, and a brother of City Attorney J. T. Keenan, of LeMars.
