Golden Wedding Date Observed Mr. and Mrs. Baack Married In April, 1895
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Baack of Craig celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at their home on Tuesday.
Henry Baack and Alvena Schultz were married at the farm home of the bride's parents in Plymouth county on April 17, 1895, b y Rev. E. Riedel. They wore attended by the bride's sister, now Mrs. Albert Winterfeld of Craig and the bride's brother. Will Schultz of Cedar Rapids, both of whom were in attendance at t h e anniversary celebration.
Immediately following their marriage the young couple moved to a farm in Sioux county until 1926 when they moved to Craig.
Mr, and Mrs. Baack are parents of three children, W. F. Baack of Luverne, Minnesota, Henry J. Baack of Le Mars and Mrs. G. F. Hanstein of Struble, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Open house was held from 1 to 4 o'clock in the afternoon during which time approximately eighty relatives and friends called to visit. Mr. and Mrs. Baack received many gifts, cards and messages of congratulation on the joyful occasion.
