KENNETH BROOKS OF PIERSON WEDS RUTH IONE MILLS

Mr. and Mrs. Warren Mills of Kingsley announce the marriage of their daughter, Ruth Ione, to Kenneth Brooks of Pierson on September 5 in LeMars, Rev. W. M. Hubbard, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated in the parsonage. The double ring service was used.

Bonnie Mills, sister of the bride, and Neil Mathers, a schoolmate of the groom, were the attendants. Attending the wedding service were Mr. and Mrs. Warren Mills and the groom’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Elliott, of Pierson, the latter being Kenneth’s foster parents, having raised him from childhood.

The bride was charming in a lovely blue suit with matching accessories. The bridesmaid wore a brown suit.
