Married 40 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley King, LeMars, will observe their Ruby wedding anniversary on January 1, 1979. No special events are planned.

Hazel Peck and Mr. King were married Jan. 1, 1939, at the home of the bride in Union County, S.D., with an Akron address.

The couple has two sons, Leslie and his wife, Mary, Sioux City, and Terry and his wife, Carol, of State College, Pa. There are four grandchildren. Terry and his family were home in October when a family dinner in honor of the 40th Anniversary was held.
