Mr. and Mrs. Frank Morehead, Akron, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on January 1, 1973, at the Adaville United Methodist church. Open house will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited and no invitations have been sent. The couple requests no gifts, please. (Naef photo)

The event will be hosted by their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jelken, Akron.

Ruth Talbott and Mr. Morehead were married at Akron, Jan. 1, 1933. The couple has since lived in the Adaville community. They are the parents of one daughter, Mrs. Dick (Marjorie) Jelken, rural Akron. They have five grandchildren.
