Mr. and Mrs. John Weiler of Oyens are shown in a photo by Naef Studio, LeMars, the occasion being their 41st wedding anniversary.

Rose Neilius and John Weiler were united in marriage at St. Mary’s church, Remsen, on January 15, 1918. The couple farmed near Remsen after which they moved to LeMars. They moved to their home in Oyens two years ago.

They have six children: Duane, of Remsen; Stanley of LeMars; Mrs. Robert (Gail) Kellen, Remsen; Mrs. John (LaVonne) Hart Jr., LeMars; Allen, of Remsen; and Mrs. (Ellen) Ricahrd Hartz, Remsen. Allen and Ellen are twins. There are 21 grandchildren.

The couple will be hosts at a family dinner at their home in Oyens on January 15.
