Mr. and Mrs. John F. Bindner of Marcus, shown in a photo by Naef Studio, LeMars, will observe their golden wedding anniversary on Tuesday, January 27, 1959. On that date a family dinner for the immediate family will be served.

On Sunday, February 1, Open House will be held at Holy Name Parish hall in Marcus. Hours will be from 2 to 4:30 p.m. No invitations have been sent and all relatives and friends are welcome to call.

Caccilia Kosse and John F. Bindner were united in marriage on January 27, 1908, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, LeMars. They lived in the Marcus area for a number of years, and now live in Marcus.

Their children are: Leona Henson, San Francisco; John H. Bindner, Remsen; George Bindner, LeMars; Leonard Bindner, Marcus; Mrs. Herbert Nothem (Bertha), Remsen; Charles Bindner, Garden Grove, California; Vernone Bindner, Marcus; Donald Bindner, Marcus; Mrs. Maurice Welte (Gloria), Danbury, Iowa. There are 30 grandchildren.
