The marriage of Alverd A. Anderson, who conducts a barber shop in Remsen, and Miss Minerva Effa Chapin, took place on Wednesday, March 19th, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Chapin, in Meriden. Anderson is well known here especially among the baseball fans, as he has done considerable pitching in the vicinity the past two years.
