Services for Mrs. Kenneth (Lois) Atkinson, 60, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 1984, at the Henry and Olson Funeral Home in Estherville with Pastor Norman Omodt of the Estherville Lutheran Church officiating.

Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery at Graettinger. She died Sunday, September 16, 1984 at Holy Family Hospital.

Lois Anderson was born August 2, 1924 at Graettinger, the daughter of Bert and Carrie (Hansen)Anderson. She received her education in the Graettinger School.

On November 2, 1940, she was united in marriage with Kenneth Atkinson in Estherville. She lived her entire life in the Graettinger and Estherville area.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth, Estherville; four daughters; Mrs Dean (Sharon) Roland, Pocahontas; Mrs. Mike (Janet) Weber, Sioux City; Mrs. Donald (Karen) Mitchell, Armstrong and Mrs. Scot (Amy) Houge, Fairmont, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; four sisters; Mrs. Arlen Truchey, Mrs. Ruth Robinson, Aberdeen, South Dakota; Mrs. Carl (Verna) Hanna, Ruthven; Mrs. Warren (Genevieve) Christensen, Larchwood; and one brother, Donald Anderson, Maquoketa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister and one infant brother.
