Ervin Leslie Leonard, 39, died at his home near Curlew Monday. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Presbyterian church at Rodman, with Rev. Whitmer officating. The pallbearers were Edwin Drayman, Wade High, Cletus Hepp, Virg Howard, Dick Hersom, and George Bell. The Martin Funeral home was in charge.

The deceased was born in Rodman Mardch 11, 1902. He was united in marriage with Miss Mildred Boster of Rodman, September 28, 1927. Surviving are his widow and children,
Beryl, 13, Helen, 10, Dalton, 9, and James, 3, also his mother of Rodman, one brother, Everett of Cylinder, and three sisters, Mrs. John Petticord and Mrs. Jess Galloway of Curlew and Aline Leonard of Rodman. His grandmother, Mrs. Anna Sloan, is a resident of Rodman. His father, two sisters and one brother preceded him in death. The surviving relatives have sincere sympathy in the loss they have been called upon to bear.”

Ervin Leslie Leonard was born to John Alonzo "Lon" and Gertrude (Sloan) Leonard. He was laid to rest in the Rodman Cemetery.
