Died. -- On Sunday, July 1, 1883, at her home at Mud Lakes, in Emmet county, Iowa, Mrs. Helena Charlotte Mulroney, wife of Edward Mulroney.

She was married to Edward Mulroney in Sacramento, California, in 1854, and they removed in 1871 to their beautiful home in Emmet county. Consumption was the fell destroyer which took away her life and cast such a heavy gloom over a happy family and home. The husband, three sons and one daughter mourn this their irreparable loss, and a large circle of relatives, friends and acquaintances mingle tears with their tears, and sorrow with their sorrow. She was widely known as a kind and loving wife and mother, and no one ever approached their most hospitable of homes without a most hearty and cordial welcome. But she has gone over the river of life and entered that beautiful golden gate where sorrow cannot come, and where peace and happiness and joy forever dwell.
