Death Called Mrs. Joseph Jackman Tuesday Afternoon

Mrs. Joseph Jackman passed away at her home Tuesday afternoon. She had been seriously ill for some time.

Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Friday, March 20 at St. Thomas church. Father McNerney will conduct the services.

Mary Jennings was born in the city of Westport, May County, Ireland, on September 15, 1872. Her age at death was therefore, 64. Her early girlhood was spent in Ireland. At the age of 14 she came to the United States and after residing for a short time in Clinton, Mass., she moved to Chicago where she lived until the time of her marriage.

She was united in marriage to Joseph Jackman on September 29, 1899 at the Holy Angels church in Chicago. Since then she has made her home in this vicinity.

She is survived by 2 sons: Dr. R. J. Jackman of the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota; James G. Jackman of Iowa City.

The three daughters are Mrs. T. J. Cullen of Cylinder, Sister Mary Hilaire, of Des Moines, Mrs. F. G. Spencer, Chicago, Illinois; one son, William passed away 7 years ago. Two sisters and one brother of the deceased reside in Ireland. Funeral services on Friday, March 20 at 9 a.m. from St. Thomas church.
